How Much Does it Cost to Start a Painting Business?
Starting a painting business can be done for as little as a few hundred dollars if you're willing to put in the work yourself. But if you want to start a bigger operation and set yourself up to hit 6-figures, then it will cost more because of the added gear for multiple crews, investment into your marketing budget, etc. On the low end we have seen "owner/operators" start for as little as $300 and bigger multi-crew businesses have invested as much as $8,000 to get started with a fury - It all depends on your goals and will be discussed in-depth in our Startup section of the online learning.
What If I've Never Painted a House Before?
We have trained dozens of young men and women who have never touched a paint brush before starting and finished their season with successful and profitable businesses.
After the online learning is complete we recommend that you lead your team on your first few projects so that you're competent in the skill. But truthfully it has been done before where the entrepreneur never picked up a brush - This all depends on your leadership ability and how you'd like to run your business.
Can I Cancel Anytime?
Yes, there are no contracts and no obligation to continue your subscription if you don't find that it's a fit.
Can I do this Part-Time?
Yes it's possible to start part-time, some have even been in full-time school during the pre-season phase, but when you're business is in full swing you will want to make it your full-time focus so that you can maximize the money you make.
